There is an XMPP client for Blackberrys. I only know, though,
because it caused our server to explode in testing, by including
well over 50 namespace declarations in a stanza header.
in svn we are not so far ;) my only doubt is about pubsub (also
for desktop clients), since the difficult part is handling item
content, which is application dependent and you can't know in
advance ho to display or use it

the problem with XMPP/Jabber is, we got a plenty of desktop clients out there, but no good handheld devices clients...

we need good clients for any platform: Palm, BlackBerry, WinCE, Symbian, LIMO, etc.
